Antonino Aiello

Antonino Aiello is the Founder and President of 100% Capri Water Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bring safe water to people in need. 100% Capri Water Foundation was founded by Antonino Aiello in April 2019.

He is often called the King of Linen. The self made Italian man is chairman and CEO of 100% Capri – the world’s leading luxury brand in linen.

Antonino was born to a tailors family in the South of Italy on November 16, 1974. He left school at the age of 18 to work in the family company. His natural habitat became a real passion during the time. At the age of 23, he moved to Capri. Here he started his professional project creating 100% linen fashion designs inspired by the linen fabric’s versatility.

Early in 2000 he founded the brand 100% Capri and opened his first shop in the island of Faraglioni. As none before, he has ideated linen collections changing the vision of linen in the high fashion system. He has used 38 different kinds of the finest linen in Europe. In Antonino’s hands, it doesn’t wrinkle but acquires new life. That’s why he is called the “King of Linen”. Why linen? Because it comes from flax, an ecofriendly plant that does not need irrigation. He thinks fashion companies should be accountable for more than just profit.

Since 2003 he has opened shops in exclusive resorts and locations: Rome, Saint-Barthélemy, Florence, Sicily, Los Angeles, Miami, Ibiza, Dubai, Mykonos, Portofino, South Africa, Qatar, Palm Beach and Saint Tropez

Not only to Mr. Aiello the fashion future is sustainable, but everyone has to do its best to change the world for better. That is why he was inspired to found an organization that aims to help people to live. Water is definitely a basic need for humans’ lives.
